So this last weekend I was at the Puyallup antique show. Set up next to Betty the button lady because her friend Jennifer had strained her back.
I had a really swell time, had some laughs, made some money and got to visit with some of my favorite customers.
This week end I will be at the Girl Friends Show @ the thurston co fair grounds starting friday nite and all day saturday.
For those of you who are keeping track that will make my 4th show in a row! Doing a flea market a week is one thing but setting a show and working it for 2 or 3 days can be a chore. But I have to say I will be sad to see this string of shows come to a end. Geff was so much help and every show I have done thus far I have been set up to friends that make me laugh, Funky Junk, JohnBob and for the last 2 weeks Betty. I'll be sorta lonely for Betty next week, I hope the Girlfriends have some fun vendors for me to hang out with. I know my new best friend Diane will be there with her fab design work and old linens. She is amazing. So mark your calendars to come.
Something else, I am married to a very talented man. Really, when he was a photo journalist he won every award imaginable and was a Pulitzer prize nominee. There is no one on the planet that I have more respect for and his integrity is beyond reproach. I do not have a clear idea of why he had chosen his current career path but I would have to believe that it has something to do with wanting to work for a company that he believes has the same sort of integrity that he so highly values. That being said he just started his first blog. www.orangechairpictures.blogspot.com. I will be reading it and am thinking you might find it entertaining as well.
peace out rock and rollers.......OX
